The Linux UWB Dev Kit for QM35825 enables to quickly discover the world of Ultra-Wideband, especially the ranging & radar capabilities. Without any prior experience, you will discover UWB, prototype & develop application through the “Getting Started Guide”. The Qorvo Explorer App (GUI) demonstrates quickly the capabilities of the QM35825 device: • Precise measurement of the distance between 2 UWB devices (± 5 cm accuracy) • Direction of other UWB device (± 2° angle accuracy) • Radar scanning of nearby environment (presence detection – are you nearby the sensor?) • The UQT python tool enables the development of your own script based on the ranging & radar API stack provided by Qorvo (Fira3.0 certified). The “Getting Start Guide” explains how UWB ranging accurately tracks the position and the movement of a UWB device. The SDK will demonstrate how to write applications under Linux® based on the the Qorvo stack (Fira3.0 certified). This application written in C/C++ is executed on the Raspberry PI 4 integrated to the kit. The “Getting Start Guide” explains how UWB ranging accurately tracks the position and the movement of a UWB device.

The Qorvo® QM33120WDK2 is an all-in-one, ready-to-use development kit for the low power, low cost QM33110W and QM33120W UWB transceivers. This kit can be used to evaluate the UWB technology in various infrastructure topologies, using TWR, TDoA or AoA. An RTLS system can be evaluated quickly in the following modes: DL-TDoA (Downlink TDoA), UL-TDoA (Uplink TDoA) and TWR (Two-Way Ranging), or through perfom data telemetry. It is also compatible with FiRa® PHY and MAC specifications. It contains 6 devices modules (1xAoA and 5x non-AoA) based on Nordic nRF52840 inside a Murata 2AB SIP module with external Qorvo QM14068 Low Noise Amplifier and QM14070 Power Amplifier. The boards can be configured as a tag or as an anchor. Customized application software can be developed and loaded via the USB or BLE.

The Qorvo® QM33120WDK1 is a development kit for the low power, low cost QM33110W and QM33120W UWB transceivers. This kit can be used to evaluate the hardware performance of the devices in TWR, TDoA and AoA systems and can help to build an evaluation real time location system (RTLS). It also enables the development of applications based on DW3110, DW3120, DW3210, DW3220 UWB transceivers. It includes two different daughter boards (AoA and non-AoA) mounted on two Nordic nRF52840 DK evaluation boards. Application firmware development is facilitated by the features of the Nordic boards such as on-board J-Link debugger, USB and Bluetooth® Low Energy interfaces. The QM33120WDK1 is designed to develop applications compatible with PHY and MAC FiRa™ specifications.

Qorvo's MDEK1001 ultra-wideband (UWB) development kit provides customers with the necessary hardware, software and development environment to quickly evaluate Qorvo's UWB technology for use in a scalable real time location system (RTLS). This kit includes 12 DWM1001-DEV development boards in plastic enclosures. Each can be configured as an anchor, tag or bridge node.

Qorvo's DWM3001CDK has been developed as a design kit for the DWM3001C fully integrated (UWB) module based on the Qorvo DW3110 IC. This kit can be used to evaluate hardware performance as a TWR or TDoA Tag and build an evaluation real time location system (RTLS). Two micro USB ports connect to the J-Link and DWM3001C USB interface. An on-board J-Link debugger provides SWD and UART interfaces to the DWM3001C. Two micro USB ports connect to the J-Link and DWM3001C USB interface. The board can be powered from either of these USB ports, a Raspberry Pi interface, a battery or an external power supply. The DWM3001CDK is interoperable with the Apple U1 & U2 chip. The DWM3001C is designed to be compliant to the FiRa™ PHY and MAC specifications enabling interoperability with other FiRa™ compliant devices.

Qorvo's DWM3000EVB is an Arduino form factor compatible shield designed for the evaluation of the DWM3000 ultra-wideband (UWB) module for use in a scalable real time location system (RTLS). This Arduino shield can be used with the customer's choice of microcontroller. The Arduino shield form factor is supported by many MCU vendors including STMicroelectronics, Nordic Semiconductor and more. The DWM3000EVB is designed to be compliant to the FiRa™ PHY and MAC specifications enabling interoperability with other FiRa™ compliant devices. The DWM3000EVB is interoperable with the Apple U1 & U2 chip. DWM3000EVB was formerly known as DWS3000.

Users of this development board can easily assemble a fully wireless real time location system (including anchors, tags & gateways) without designing any hardware or writing a single line of code and quickly progress into developing an application.
