Crystal Procurement Tool is a downloadable PC application GUI tool that helps hardware designers selecting a 32 MHz crystal for Qorvo Low Power Systems. This tool checks if the crystal electrical parameters, as specified in the data sheet, can meet Qorvo procurement requirements. It calculates the (external) load capacitors, the test limits for finished goods production tests and, if needed it generates a frequency correction look-up table for up to 125 °C. When a crystal passes the Crystal Procurement Tool, we can guarantee — based on specifications — that the crystal will reliably oscillate and meet the frequency offset requirements of both the IEEE 802.15.4 - 2.4 GHz PHY and the Bluetooth® Low Energy PHY across all design corners and over the product lifetime.
